Thurles Parish’s exhibition of local clubs, societies and organisations took place successfully in the Premier Hall last Friday 5th February and Saturday 6th February.
There was a great atmosphere around the Hall and everyone who attended received a wealth of information about the wide range of groups active in the local area.
St Angela’s Academy of Music had a stand on both days and we were delighted to be involved in this community event.
Thurles Parish is holding an exhibition for all local clubs, societies and organisations next week and St Angela’s Academy is getting involved.
The exhibition will take place in the Premier Hall on Friday 5th February from 11am to 1pm and Saturday 6th February from 12pm to 4pm. Free parking will be available at the Ursuline Secondary School car park.
The intention of the exhibition is to showcase the wide range of activities on offer in the local community. There are up to 150 participating groups and each will have a stand as part of the exhibition. Everyone is invited to come along and discover what goes on in the town. The exhibition gives local inhabitants the opportunity to learn interesting and useful things about Thurles and encourages them to support the groups and get involved.
St Angela’s Academy of Music will have a stand there on both days where people can come and find out more about the school. Teachers will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions regarding music tuition at St Angela’s. All are welcome to come by!
